The Submersible Deep Well Sampling Pump is a method for obtaining 50 ml samples from 2" or larger wells of any depths using only 80 PSIG maximum. It requires an air compressor/vacuum pump for operation. The unit can be remotely operated with a programmable logic controller (PLC) for obtaining samples on demand. The pump was developed for remote operation delivering samples to a Field Deployable Analysis System which checks for movement of underground radioactive plumes. The pump can be customized to any well size.

The Self Packing Submersible Deep Well Sampling Pump provides a method for obtaining 50 ml samples from 4" or larger water wells of any depth using only 80 PSIG maximum with a self packing sampling system. The inflatable packer seals off the pump directly above the screen and is programmed to move four complete exchanges of water from below the packing to above the packing prior to sending a 50 ml sample to the surface for analysis. The benefit to the self packing pump is that four exchanges of water do not have to be removed from the well and disposed of in order to get a representative sample from an aquifer. It requires an air compressor/vacuum pump for operation. The unit can be remotely operated with a programmable logic controller (PLC) for obtaining samples on demand. The pump can be customized to any well size.
